PetHabitats was created by a small group of people who love their pets and the environment.

PetHabitats is not a big conglomerate. We're people, just like you, who have a passion for our pets and want to make the world a better place.

All of our products (including those that are still coming up) have been developed with the basic idea that all pet owners are committed to caring for their pets, but still want products that make our lives better and easier. As pet owners ourselves, we wanted to simplify the tasks of pet care in ways that can promote a positive environmental agenda.

FlushEze™ was our first big idea.

FlushEze, the flushable biodegradable bag, was our first product. Creating a biobag that would allow people to flush pet waste into the sewer/septic system - where it belongs - was extremely important to us because there was no product like this on the market!

In the process of inventing FlushEze, we learned a lot about what a biobag should be and shouldn't. We patented what we think is the best bag on the market - a fully biodegradable bag that dissolves instantly in water. It doesn't get any better than that from a biodegradable standpoint! You can actually watch our biodegradable bag disappear - if you want to. But the best part is, you don't have to. Just flush it and go.

To our knowledge, there is only one other flushable biodegradable bag on the market at this time, and it is made of a compound that we rejected when we patented our bag.

After our initial success with FlushEze, we wanted to create even more earth-friendly solutions to the often unpleasant, but necessary, tasks of pet waste disposal. It may not be the most glamorous part of the pet care industry, but this fundamental task of pet maintenance is absolutely necessary!

We created the PoochPouch to hold "used" FlushEze, and the Yard WasteAway so you can dispose of pet waste outdoors. Many of our products are designed to work together and utilize the waste-water treatment systems we have in place for human waste. For example, you might use FlushEze when you're walking your dog in the neighborhood, but just scoop the poop straight into the Yard WasteAway when your dog does his duty at home.

Our products are safe, sanitary, easy to use, and tested! They all work without expensive, messy and inefficient chemicals, mechanical scoops or cumbersome containers.
